Grounded van bodies 13.

Here's another body, again spotted whilst out running;

This one can be found in Hayfield, Derbyshire (SK030871), alongside the Sett Valley Trail (an old railway line converted to a foot and cycle path) in a field corner next to a crossing;

Here's a peek inside;

Showing the door opening;

This is located at a crossing;

And nearby the remains of a cabinet and signpost can still be seen;

Across the old line a crossing keepers cottage still stands, in fine order.

Paul.

  1. I am impressed that you manage to notice things while running. And hold a camera straight.

    We have a lot les abandoned railways around here, although a few can be found if you look.

    1. I was out recce'ing a route ready for a trail race on Sunday, so had time to notice my surroundings. If I'm actually racing my mind is a lot more focused!
