Peak Forest tractor.

Yesterday I was out on the bike, riding around Dove Holes (there's a UCR that runs around the back of the quarry) and Peak Forest, a nice undemanding little route for those days when I'm either too unfit or too short of time to do a bigger more demanding loop. This took me over the railway line at Peak Forest where spotters and photographers often gather, and with good reason.

This was parked up;

37716, for those that like numbers. I'm taken with the faded paint, try recreating that in miniature;

Further up the line there was a 66 awaiting its turn;

The bike is a Sonder Vir Fortis fatbike, lighter than it looks and great fun to ride.

Paul.
