I'm not sure of the purpose of this hut, but I do think that it would make a good model.
This one was found in the corner of a field, next to Hardybarn Lane, just outside Buxton in the Peak.
The back, facing the lane;
I do wonder about the shuttered windows, and the vent and faded patch on the side. Also of note is that it sits on the ground with a visible gap under it, which is something we modellers are warned against!
Paul.
The corrugated iron appreciation society on FB would love that. I'm still making my mind up how to tackle the CI buildings from the Tanat Valley Railway in 2mm scale
ReplyDeleteI am on that group, and posted photos of a livestock shelter yesterday. I might post this one on there as well.
DeleteI'm also in the bathtubs in fields group...
Does anyone make 2mm corrugated, or will you need to roll your own?
Severn Models do an etched sheet which is probably what I'll use one I'm happy with my mock up
