Grounded van bodies 1.

I keep noticing grounded van bodies whilst out and about and I thought it might be interesting to photograph some to be featured on here.

Here's the first one, which is sited just outside Buxton at Daisymere Farm (SK081744), next to a green lane which I sometimes run along;

Its difficult to tell the origin of this wagon body, but the double end vents and external framing arrangement suggests a GWR (or Western Region) design (plywood sides and door pointing possibly towards diagram V36?), but I could be wrong!

I was a bit unsure about using these photos as they don't actually show much of the van, but I like the way that its become part of the scenery. And I like the rusted corrugated fence. Perhaps I should return to this spot in the winter and take another couple of pics.

Paul.
