As per usual I undercoated it with car body primer, Hycote red oxide in this case. For brick red I used Revel Aqua Color 361/37 Reddish Brown, which I rather like.
I probably should have painted the solebars black, but I've used a little licence and only painted the axleboxes and brake lever, simply because I think it looks good that way. Paint is Phoenix Precision Dirty Black acrylic.
I've really enjoyed building this tiny waggon, an unusual addition to my rather eclectic waggon fleet.
